CBS has episodes of The Twilight Zone streaming online. I'm in heaven.

My first experience with The Twilight Zone was my Freshman year of HS, where during our unit for Fahrenheit 451, my favorite English teacher showed us The Obsolete Man. Mrs. Desmond was easily the coolest person at my HS. She also introduced myself and some of my friends/classmates to MST3K during Speech my Senior year.

I hadn't expected to like Twilight Zone, but I left that class after watching The Obsolete Man more fond of the show than I had been. I usually don't enjoy black and white programs--I'm not sure why, probably because I grew up on The Andy Griffith Show and now can't stand it--but The Twilight Zone and It's A Wonderful Life are two black and white shows that survived this test to me.

A couple years back I caught my first obsessive helping of The Twilight Zone at some weird hour during my insomniac days of my Senior year. And now, ever since, I've caught the marathons on New Years and just been completely enraptured with it.

I find myself watching episodes and just being in love with everything in the show. The twists, the messages, the ingenuity, the filming techniques. The Twilight Zone was the predecessor to all good modern science fiction shows. I think part of the reason I love the episode "Blink" in Doctor Who so much is that it carries tones of the Twilight Zone.

More than a little, I love the design. I have a huge liking of military. The Twilight Zone covers it.

And the uniforms in this show?

Eye candy from half a century ago.

Lady Gaga's "Telephone" featuring Beyonce is one fucking hot song.

Though at the end, when clips play of the standard male and female "This call cannot be completed as dialed", I have the Pavlovian response of wanting to kill something. Call-A-Thon has trained me to loathe whomever the man and woman was that recorded those messages, because I hear it upwards of 50 times a night whenever I work.

But then I get over it, because Lady Gaga is amazing.

I worship at the church of Gagalupe and Beysus and I don't care what none of ya'll haters say.

Also, unrelatedly, Gaga has an amazing ass.

I need to get laid.

Happy birthday, Tobie!

I formally apologize for sending you a Twilight e-card.

I usually never answer these, but, this one I can't resist.

If you could only listen to one CD for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

Commit This To Memory by Motion City Soundtrack.

Basically, from start to finish, this CD just...encompasses how I feel, mood wise. It has every range of my emotions and I used to cry to it before I learned how to cope with my depression and things. It's the CD I'd listen to when angry, it's a musician/CD I share with one of my best friends, and I don't think it would ever grow old.

"Attractive Today" pretty much is just how I wake up and feel every day, how I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired but being unable to change anything (being fed up with the common cold, but there's no cure for that). And you know, everything else.

I'm not about to argue that Commit This To Memory is the best CD I've ever listened to, but. If I had to choose, it would be it.
Nov.09.09 - Websites FML
I'm joining way too many online communities. D:

^--Just joined this thing. It's super cute, and they let you have some kind of pet thingy. I'm more entertained that it's set up like a fantasy RPG than anything else, though. You can mine for ore and combine it for shit, and that entertains and pleases me. XD;

^--Click my pet~? :D;;

It looks like you can have multiple characters on there, and the site's got a built-in Dream Avatar system, which is pretty exciting, because I'm retarded and only speak Tektek. There's a "Black Market" where you can buy things around half the store price, and you gain EXP via things like doing good deeds and committing crimes. XD There're varying percentages of success for different deeds, and I think it goes down the more you do, but I'm definitely liking this setup. It's refreshing. (I'm not liking the 150 exp needed to get past level one, though, holy shit, is this what D&D is like? >_>)

Solia Online

Solia Online is pretty fun--the forum is set up the same way as Zaffcast's. It moves a little to fast for my slow, useless self, though, so I don't know how long I'll stick around there. The only way to make money is to do the forum thing. D: But I love their item layering system for avatars--most items can be worn with or without pieces, like a corseted top with poofy sleeves can be worn without poofs.

HOWEVER. As much as I'm liking the site, in general, and the people are nice, the spelling is HIDEOUS. I want to beat the admins over the head and make them give me editing powers over every single thing on this website, holy shit. (However, if you join and become active, I get points toward items I'll never be able to buy. :D;; )

...I'm still waiting on join notifications from some other site that I don't remember. -dies- I'm totally stretching myself too thin here, but damnit, I'm bored, and my car's in the shop racking up a bill with a comma in it. D:

I just geeked out a bit.

So I think I've finally decided what I want my next tattoo to be.

I'm going to get Serenity (as in, the ship) from Firefly tattooed on my hip/side with some autumn leaves. Because I'm a fucking fag for sentimentality, I'm going to take a leaf from my yard, my college campus (the most beautiful campus in the world), and either my HS or my grandpa's house in Metamora and bring them to whoever it is that does the tat to use as models.

I just need to get the balls to do this, but I know in x amount of years I won't be embarrassed to tell someone I have a tattoo about a show I've passionately loved and leaves representing the places I grew up in.

I want to take someone on a romantic candlelit dinner someplace ridiculous.

I want to go to Taco Bell, throw a tablecloth over one of the dining tables in there, set cushions on the seat, and bust out two (electric flickering) candles on sticks.

In my mind, this sounds like a perfect evening.
As a warning to everyone around me, I have unearthed a book subtitled "Wit and Witticism". This book has arguably the worst jokes ever known to man.

I find it hilarious.

These next few days may be difficult.

I'm done.

I'm obviously not meant to have friends. Sorry I'm such a shitty human being.

I just don't know what to do with myself any more.
